Our Story
Silver Moon Senior Living was born from a simple belief: senior care should feel less like a facility and more like home.
Founded by Katie Luna, LVN, a nurse with more than a decade of healthcare experience and a deep passion for serving seniors, Silver Moon was created to offer families something different—a warm, intimate setting where exceptional care and genuine compassion come together.
Through her years in nursing and leadership within skilled nursing communities, Katie witnessed firsthand the importance of personalized attention, meaningful relationships, and treating every resident with the dignity and respect they deserve. She envisioned a place where residents would be known by name, cared for like family, and never feel like just another room number.
That vision became Silver Moon Senior Living.
With just eight residents, our home is intentionally small, allowing us to focus on what matters most: the people who live here. From individualized care and home-cooked meals to meaningful companionship and thoughtful attention to everyday comforts, every detail is designed to create a true sense of belonging.
